The Vanilla Stalker (was my little pink fangirl stalker)

I’m not alone. I found out last night that sharpiesgal has been receiving the same sort of contacts from this chick then this morning I heard from redjumper who has also been contacted.

Last night while sis and I were chatting, comparing note and plotting revenge, I decided to check out Vanilla’s profile on FFN. I get curious that way. What I found out was that she has almost 2000 stories favorited. After spot checking about two dozen and finding the exact same, almost word for word reviews on all of them, I believe she has actually done this to a lot of people.

This actually told me something. She is displaying classic autistic behavior. For those of you who have never come across this before, think Rainman. I’ve spent most of my adult life working with children and adults with autism and I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me sooner.

Warning: Science Content...
For people with mild to moderate forms of autism, the primary deficiency is in social skills. Forms of autism, like Asperger’s Syndrome, are the result of damage to a segment of the brain called mirror neurons. Mirror neurons are what enable us to feel empathy and allow us to mimic behaviors. They give us the ability to read people and social situations. People with autism who are otherwise high functioning can learn to cope with these situations by rote memorization of social norms.

So basically, I believe that this person is autistic. The way her replies are formed displays a classic memorization technique that I’ve use with the people that I’ve worked with. And I believe that the best way to deal with her is to ignore her. I do not believe she is actually expecting any return contact but simply saying what she thinks is appropriate in this situation.

But since I hate to disappoint anyone, I’ll write the kinky sex anyway, but I’m not going to send it to her. There wouldn’t be any point to doing that.
