So, I got up this morning at a quarter to five, like I do every morning. But this morning it wasn't 4:45 it was actually 3:45. That's because the clocks got set back last night, if you live in the US(except for Arizona). The problem is, like my cats and the dog, my body clock doesn't understand this. It wakes me up at the same time every morning regardless of when I go to sleep, which is usually fairly early but not always.

Most people would look at the end of Daylight Savings Time as a chance to get an extra hour of sleep, or an extra hour of party time Saturday night. I really wish I was one of those people who could roll over and go back to sleep in the morning. My husband does it all the time. Unfortunately, once I'm up, I'm up and there is nothing for it but to start my day.

This also serves as a warning to those of you who will be rooming with me in DC next year. But I promise to be quiet.

The one benefit to this time of year is that the extra hour in the morning is traditionally used for writing, which flows better at this hour for some reason.

Oh well, back to Club Descent...
