He wasn't really a bad guy but a lot of people at the college didn't like him, students in particular.
He was someone who would fight tooth and nail for what he believed in but we were always on opposite sides of a fight. Faculty and administration.
He could hold a grudge like nobody's business. For five years he wouldn't even acknowledge my presence in a room after an argument we'd gotten into about room allocations.
He'd warmed up a bit over the past few years and would at least nod as we passed in the hallway.
He had a wicked sense of humor and was so easy to bait sometimes. He was a decent psychologist and not a horrible teacher. He had his followers, students and faculty. Though I know there are people here who won't be sorry to hear he's gone and that's sad. Not the legacy one really wants to leave.
Bob, my nemesis, you'll be missed by some and even though I know you'd never believe it, you'll be missed by me.
