Update squee...

Two weeks!

Aaaaaaahhhhhh!

Exactly two weeks from this very moment I will be on a plane bound for San Diego. Six and a half hours on a plane. Well, five hours on a plane, forty minute stop-over in Vegas, then one hour on a plane.

I arrive first so I will have most of Monday to myself to explore the neighborhood a bit. Or crash and sleep. More likely the latter. That will probably be the easiest way to get my bioclock shifted around.

Lot’s to do in the next two weeks. I need to get everything at work organized and farmed out to people who can take care of things while I’m gone. By the time I get back to work on August 2nd, the summer terms will be over. I’ve started making my packing list already. I need to make sure everything at home is organized and my husband has enough food though he is fairly self sufficient. I need to get three articles written and submitted before I leave for posting while I’m away. I need a haircut and mani/pedi.

After looking at the weather over the next couple of weeks here and in San Diego, I’m even more looking forward to this trip. Weather here, supposed to hit 100F the next four days then it cools into the low 90s. San Diego, highs around 70F lows around 60F. I may not want to come home. Seriously.

I’m sort of bummed that I won’t have my new phone before I go. My Blackberry is slowly becoming a Crackberry and I’m getting really tired of all of the problems. However, the phone I want, the Droid Incredible, is back ordered and I can’t get it until the end of the month. Oh well. It will be cool when I do get it.

Well, since Saturday was made of procrastination and yesterday was made of writing productivity, today must be made of laundry and housework. Le sigh.
