I know I promised an update a few days ago. I really just haven’t felt like writing anything.
Things have been sort of blah lately. Nothing seriously wrong. My health is fine. My paychecks are regular. My bills get paid and I have money in the bank. So, really, I have nothing to complain about. It’s just a lot of stupid little things.
Work kind of sucks right now. I’m starting to find myself thinking more and more about a time when I won’t be working here anymore, in the not too distant future, I hope. If I were to write a fictional work based on what’s happening here at the college, it would be dismissed as pure fantasy. Comedy of errors doesn’t even begin to describe things. Luckily I have my classes. I actually look forward to getting here at the crack of dawn for my early class. They are a fun group.
I had wanted to continue doing the reviews here but I just can’t get myself to do it. It has nothing to do with the shows themselves. I just don’t feel like it. I’ve liked the first two Miami episodes. There was a lot in the Mythbusters season premier to talk about. I’m loving Detroit 187 and I’m really looking forward to The Walking Dead at the end of the month. Oh yeah, and Sela Ward on CSI: NY rocks. I hardly miss Stella at all. I never thought I’d actually say/write that.
There is another RiffTrax Live show on October 28th. House on Haunted Hill plus some new shorts. I actually got my tickets the first day they went on sale.
NYCC was this past weekend. I didn’t go this year. I think I was con’d out after SDCC. I’m toying with the idea of going down to Florida in March. But right now the flights are too expensive and I need to save money. If everything goes to plan, I may be moving this summer. More on that as plans solidify.
Well, I have a student coming in shortly so I should get going. More later.
