So, let’s see...
RMWP is coming along. I’m almost done with the the chapter I started last weekend. The next chapter is the one I’m really looking forward to writing because we get to meet Tommy Stetler. I have a really solid idea of who Tommy is and how he and Rick relate to each other. I think it will be fun.
I got totally distracted from writing today by a lot of little things around the house. I made guacamole and hummus, separately of course. Tomorrow it’s laundry and food shopping. And I have to fix the flusher on the toilet. Don’t ask.
Every time I think things at work can’t get more insane someone comes along and proves me wrong. I really hope the Dean has a solid plan for the two of us by end of the school year or I’m going to have to start looking on my own. I really don’t want to do that but I just can’t stay where I am any longer. Something has to give.
This weekend, Sunday actually, is my wedding anniversary. Twenty-five years together, seven with paperwork, as my husband is fond of saying. It’s become a bit of a tradition on this blog for me to repost the story of our wedding.
Our wedding on Halloween.
Our wedding on Halloween in Drug Court.
I’m just going to link to the original post this year: Click here.
Be sure to read the comments. There is one from gracie999 who was actually there with us when it happened.
All of the kids have awesome Halloween costumes this year. I have to post some pics...
(Alex and Sophia are brother and sister. Benjamin and Lucas are brothers.)
Alex (6yo) is Superman.
Princess Sophia (3yo)
Benjamin (5yo) is Megatron
Lucas (4yo) is a motocross guy
And last but certainly not least, some sad news. For those of you who knew him, my mother’s dog, Tucker, passed away today. He was 15. He was an old man, functionally blind and deaf the past few months. He had a stroke yesterday.
