First World Problems...

I am really regretting not getting passes for Comic Con this summer. After last summer and being so overwhelmed by all of it, I decided that once was enough and didn’t get the advanced tickets. I started to regret it almost immediately upon returning to New York. I was able to console myself a month or so later when the dean and I began talking about leaving and moving down south this summer. I would need to save money and the timing of the move was uncertain. It could interfere with the con. As it turns out, we will not be leaving until next spring. Now I keep reading posts about what people will be doing in San Diego in a couple of weeks and I really want to be there.

This also means that even though I was all set to not teach anymore, I will take my classes back for the fall term. I must admit that I am not looking forward to teaching again but I can’t pass up an extra $7K for the semester.

It also means another winter in New York. On the bright side, shoveling snow is good exercise :-/

I lost ten pounds in 2 months last winter having to shovel snow every week. But, personally, I prefer the gym.

And, I've lost five pounds just sweating to death the past two months.

I agree the gym is a better option, especially if it has A/C.
