This reminds me of a conversation I have with my mom about once every four months or so...

"Kids. You know, there's a whole generation of people who have never worked on a typewriter. When I was in college there were some professors who wouldn't take the erasable paper so you had to carefully type out everything or give it to someone who could. You just don't know what it was like."

"That's because you threw out the typewriter before I was born. Now that you made me feel ignorant, I hope that I made you feel old."

LMAO That's too funny.

I just recently had one of those experiences with my 7 yo nephew when I told him he sounded like a broken record and he asked what that meant. I found myself having to explain records to him.
